High school softball jamborees will be played at Elizabethton and Unaka high schools next week.
The one at Elizabethton is set for Tuesday. Sullivan East plays Happy Valley at 4:30 p.m., then it’s Johnson County against Hampton (5:15) and Unaka vs. Elizabethton (6:20).
A baserunner derby will be held after each scrimmage. Four players from each school will be timed from home to home.
Unaka’s annual jamboree is scheduled for March 8-10.
