Elizabethton Whitewashes Johnson Co.

Anthony Ward drove in five runs, he and Wes Montgomery swatted three hits apiece and Elizabethton posted a 10-0 whitewashing of Johnson County on Friday in Three Rivers Conference baseball play.
The game, which lasted five innings, with the Cyclones plating four runs in their final turn at the plate.
Ward finished with a pair of doubles and a walk. As for Montgomery, he produced a double, a sacrifice fly and two RBIs. Both players also stole a base.
Picking up two hits for the Cyclones was Chris Lanthorn. Austin Smith pitched all five innings for EHS, striking out nine batters and yielding five hits.
Elizabethton committed no errors.
